Consultancy

In addition to the other programs and resources that StoneWorks offers, International Director Colin Harbinson can work alongside specific organizations or local churches as a consultant, for an agreed-upon remuneration. If interested, contact Colin at stoneworks.arts@gmail.com.

If your organization invites Colin to be a consultant, he will guide you as you go through the following process:

1. VISION

Evaluate your current arts-related vision and practice, and/or envision new or future possibilities in the arts.

2. LEADERSHIP

Identify and build a diverse leadership team of people interested in the arts in order to train and spiritually mentor emerging arts leaders in formal and informal ways.

3. STRATEGIC INITIATIVES

Design strategic ideas or models that can be multiplied across the organization in line with its structure and mission goals.

4. DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Craft a mission statement and plan that will articulate your vision for the arts and build a case statement for use in funding proposals.

5. FINANCIAL BASE

Identify and communicate with potential major donors, trusts, and foundations to raise the money needed to launch or sustain your arts vision or arts project/s.

6. MINISTRY RESOURCES

Identify or develop appropriate audio, video, web, or print media resources and curriculum that can be used to train, teach, and further your arts vision.

7. MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Identify and develop opportunities and models for mission and cultural engagement through the arts, networking with practicing artists as resource partners.

8. STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

Build committed relationships with other like-minded leaders and organizations, partnering with them in strategic arts initiatives while sharing resources that support the vision.

Feedback . . .

“It’s been my pleasure to work closely with Colin Harbinson and Stoneworks as we’ve begun building a ministry to university students studying the arts. Colin is a rare combination of visionary/implementer/teacher/coach. He has been able to quickly understand InterVarsity’s mission and culture and work well within it.”

Paul Tokunaga
Vice President & Director of Strategic Ministries
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship

“When I think of StoneWorks, seven words and phrases come to my mind: visionary, contemporary, relevant, grace-awakened, out of the box, cutting edge, kingdom oriented, and Christ focused.”

George Verwer
Founder, Operation Mobilization (OM)

“Stoneworks, and its founder, Colin Harbinson, have been of immeasurable value to the formation of OM Arts International, the global arts ministry of Operation Mobilization. Colin’s mentoring and expertise has been the impetus that helped us forge a structure and a strategy that would best serve the development and promotion of the Arts within our Mission.”

Bill Drake, International Coordinator for OM Arts

    Hello !

My name is María Paz Cerón. I´m an actress and a christian. I´ve been serving in the Art´s ministry at my church for the last 6 years in Santiago de Chile, but I think that maybe God is telling me to give one step forward. It has always been my dream to impact society through christian art, mainlly through theatre and cinema. There is no professional organization with this veiw in my country. There are several people who are working in this spreaded around the worl, but they have never gathered to do something together.
I´ve been searching for places outside my country where I can work and learn from artists that have this same vision, and I found your web site (stoneworks). I would really like to know if you could help me, as I’m looking forward to start trainning myself to do what God send me for: to use art to make a real impact over society.

Specifically, I’m looking for the following:
1.- A place where I can learn and get new tools to bring this dream to Chile.
2.- Professional artists that have strategically got together to strike people through theatre and cinema (which are my main areas in arts).

I would really love to find a place where I can develop the visions and dreams that God gave me, so that in the future I can be able to make them happen in my country, and hopefully, in the rest of latinamerica.
Thank you very much, I’m looking forward to reciebe news from you.

    God Bless,

    María Paz.
