On March 19, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., PointZero Physical Theatre will be holding “Café Life,” an evening of live music and performance art in Oxford, England.
Held at the Jam Factory (27 Hollybush Row, off Park End Street, Oxford OX1 1HU), an intimate café/wine bar, Café Life offers guests a relaxed, welcoming environment of conversation and creativity against the backdrop of live music and song, poetry, monologue, visual/fine art, and physical performance. The evening’s loosely prearranged performance program will include professional and non-professional artists, as well as an “open mic/floor” set in which guests are invited to participate.
PointZero is a professional company-ensemble dedicated to creating new and original physical theatre devised in rehearsal by the company, ensemble, and guests. Repertoire and performances are created through an evolving and inspired improvisation rehearsal process requiring an ensemble of artist-performers working intimately and intensively together over a solid yet flexible extended period or season. All PointZero artist-performers have a passionate and explosive hunger to develop relevant, new and original creative theatre art that deeply impacts culture, subculture, and the human condition.
